The Team here at Exhibit Associates just accomplished a Pitch.
Yes we put on our Sunday best to let the prospective client know we
1) Could Do the Job and
2) Want the Job.
To be on the list to pitch this company we thought was a honor. It is also an exercise. What makes you different? What makes you better than other companies invited into to Pitch the client?
Sole searching is one thing you need do as a result.
I also go back to "Get-Real Leadership" by Harry Campbell. On Page 23 of his book he quotes and paraphrases David Glass - then CEO of Walmart (At a Tradeshow I might add!)
Mr. Glass said "it wasn't one big thing,; it was hundreds of little things they did better than their competitors.......'if it was one big think we did extremely well, someone would figure it out, find a way to do it better'..."

So what are the hundred things we do better? Design, Account Management, Fabrication, Show Services? How about our continual drive to improve processes and communication? It's not easy. It's is not complicated, but it is not easy.
We made the Pitch. Time to get back to work at getting better for the next Pitch.
